Hello, my name is Brian Swanzey, and I'm the Director of Study Abroad here at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Let me start off by saying congratulations on your acceptance to FDU. There are a variety of ways and lengths of time that students are able to study abroad. But it all begins with meeting with your academic advisor or stopping into the Study Abroad Office to begin setting aside the appropriate courses on your degree audit.
One of the most amazing experiences FDU has to offer is Wroxton college, our campus in England. Purchased in 1965, Wroxton is located an hour north of London in an amazing English manor house on a massive 56 acre estate. With few exceptions, most student majors can attend Wroxton during their sophomore year or above with a 3.0 GPA. All your financial aid, grants, loans and scholarships stay in place while spending a once in a lifetime experience living and traveling in the United Kingdom and beyond.
We're also very proud of our campus in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, as well as our partner program in city of Chengdu, central China. FDU also has several active partnerships with universities around the world, including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Korea, and Mexico, just to name a few.
For students who'd like to participate in a shorter program, we have short term faculty led trips every January and summer that travel to a broad variety of locations. This is a brief glimpse of what Fairleigh Dickinson has to offer. So please stop into the Study Abroad Office. Have a great summer and hope to see you on campus in the fall.
