Directly overlooking the Hackensack River, Alumni Hall is where you’ll find the FDU Metropolitan Campus Bookstore. The bookstore carries everything from University and FDU Knights apparel, textbooks and school supplies, to general merchandise and gifts. Services include special orders, mail orders and web orders for textbooks. The bookstore is open online 24/7—so students can prepay for their books and avoid bookstore lines.
Located on River Road on the northern end of campus in Teaneck, Bancroft Hall is the headquarters of the Peter Sammartino School of Education. The Metropolitan Campus offices of FDU Information Systems and Technology are also located here.
Becton Hall, located off River Road on the Teaneck side of campus, is home to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences. Additionally, Becton Hall includes academic classrooms and a number of labs such as 3D Printing Lab, CNC Lab, HVAC Lab, Woodshop, Machine Shop, Electronics Lab, Computer Networking, System Administration, and Cybersecurity Lab and many more.
Dean of Students Office
Located on River Road, The Office of the Dean of Students serves as an advocate for students and is responsible for overall coordination of disciplinary matters, Student Government Advisement, Student Handbook, First-year Student Orientation, Honors Convocation and Commencement. The Dean of Students Office is available to respond to all aspects of students’ needs and should be consulted to mediate and resolve difficulties.
Educational Opportunity Fund Office
The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) is a University- and state-sponsored program. The EOF office, located on River Road, offers academic and financial assistance to qualifying New Jersey residents from backgrounds of educational and economic need who demonstrate strong evidence of the commitment, motivation and potential for scholastic success, as well as interest in completing a Fairleigh Dickinson University education.
In addition to being home to Athletics offices and FDU Knights athletic teams’ locker rooms, the Field House also houses University administrative offices including the Finance Division offices of Accounting and Treasury, as well as Resource Allocation and Planning.
Located on the Teaneck side of campus, The FDU Metro Fitness Center provides students a wonderful, on-campus resource to recreate and stay fit. The facility features a full-length basketball/volleyball/badminton court, group exercise studio and a cardio machine room. In addition, we have dedicated free weight and selectorized weight rooms, a lounge area, pool and ping-pong tables, a dedicated prayer/meditation room, and locker rooms with showers and day lockers. We offer regularly scheduled intramural activities and our staff is more than happy to provide guidance and instruction to help you make the most of our equipment and facility.
Frank Giovatto Library
The Frank Giovatto Library is on the Teaneck side of the Metropolitan Campus and offers comfortable spaces for students to work. It houses approximately 154,000 print volumes, periodicals, DVDs, audio books, microforms, and special collections. The FDU Online Library provides access to 190+ subscription databases containing over 20,000 full-text journals, more than 145,000 e-books, and a streaming video collection. Most resources within the FDU Online Library are available 24/7, both on campus and remotely. The exterior of the library features a relief by noted artist William Zorach.
Located along River Road on the Teaneck side of campus, the Interfaith Chapel houses the campus ministry program. Campus ministries’ goal is to advocate for the spiritual wellness of the University community, to provide for the coordination of formal and informal religious services for a diverse student, faculty, and staff body, and to coordinate all religious activities on campus.
Kron Administration Building
The Kron Building is located along River Road, next to University Hall, on the Teaneck side of campus. Kron Administration Building is home to Enrollment Services, Records Office, Financial Aid Office, Scheduling and International Admissions.
Muscarelle Center for Building Construction Studies
Located on University Green facing the Hackensack River, the Muscarelle Center for Building Construction Studies is home to high-tech laboratories, computer resources, academic classrooms and faculty offices for the Gildart Haase School of School of Computer Sciences and Engineering, including the Engineering and Engineering Technology programs.

Northpointe Residence Hall
One of the most recent additions to the Metropolitan Campus landscape is Northpointe, overlooking green lawns and the Hackensack River at the north end of the Teaneck side of the campus. This new 300-student residence hall features spacious rooms--each with two beds, a bathroom and microwave/refrigerator capability. Each floor has a lounge, laundry room and vending area.
Office of International Student Services
Located on River Road, The Office of International Student Services (ISS) serves currently enrolled and recently graduated international students. ISS works with students to provide access to academic, co-curricular and professional opportunities as well as providing one-on-one advisement to ensure that students are successful in maintaining proper immigration status.
Public Safety Office
Located on Lone Pine Lane off River Road, The Department of Public Safety provides protective services to the University community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Public Safety strives to reduce and limit crime and encourages our University community to report any safety concerns, incidents or suspicious activity to their department.
Directly overlooking the Hackensack River on the Teaneck side, this former private residence is now used for meetings and as a guest house for visitors to the Metropolitan Campus.
Situated just north of Robison Hall, Robison Annex is home to academic classrooms, and both the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, and the Department of Social Sciences and History.
Robison Hall is home to several academic program offices, as well as a number of student resourcers. These include: the Department. of Literature, Languages, Writing, and Humanities; Department of Communication; Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office; Metropolitan Campus Executive’s Office; Academic Advisement Center; Transfer Student Services; Academic Resource Center; Athletics Advisement; ELS Language Center.
Student Counseling and Psychological Services
Directly overlooking the Hackensack River on the Teaneck side of campus, Student Counseling and Psychological Services (S-CAPS) offers individual and group counseling for students seeking to work through personal problems. The counselors help students: gain a greater understanding of themselves and their values; identify problems and the attitudes which contribute to them; and explore courses of action and/or develop skills to help cope with any challenges they’re facing.
Student Union Building
University Hall is located on the Teaneck side of campus, along River Road. Home to the School of Arts, University Hall also has several Art Studio classrooms, Lab A and Lab B computer labs and Computing Services.
University Stadium, located just north of Naimoli Baseball Complex, is home to the FDU Knights Division I Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams. The FDU athletics complex is rounded out by the Softball Field and Tennis Courts.
